English Translation

दृढव्रत: a man firm in his vows, नरवरात्मज: the son of the foremost of men, राघव: Rama, अक्लीबम् determined, manly and bold, मुने: ascetic's, वचनम् words, श्रुत्वा having listened, प्राञ्जलि:भूत्वा with folded palms, प्रत्युवाच replied.

English Commentary

After listening to the manly command of ascetic Viswamitra, Rama, of the lineage of Raghu, the son of the foremost of men and firm in determination, replied with folded palms: Sri Rama kills Tataka
