English Translation
सुग्रीवः Sugriva, रामस्य Rama's, हर्षपौरुषवर्धनम् joy and manliness increased, वचनम् words, श्रुत्वा heard, राघवम् to Rama, पूजयाञ्चक्रे offered prayers, प्रशशंस च and praised.
English Commentary
The words of Rama boosted Sugriva's joy and manliness. He offered him prayers and praise: Sugriva expatiates about the prowess of Vali -- narrates Dundubhi's challenge -- sage Matanga's curse on Vali -- Rama demonstrates his strength.
