English Translation
धर्मभृताम् among the upholders of righteousness, वरः foremost, रामः Rama, इति thus, ब्रुवाणम् spoke, कृताञ्जलिम् with folded hands, सुग्रीवम् to Sugriva, बाहुभ्याम् shoulders, सम्परिष्वज्य having hugged, प्रत्युवाच replied.
English Commentary
On hearing Sugriva who stood with folded hands, Rama, the foremost among the upholders of righteousness, hugged him and said: Sugriva gives an account of the arrival of his army, in thousands and thousands of crores -- Rama expresses his gratefulness to Sugriva.
