English Translation
ततः then, सः कपिसत्तमः that great monkey, Sugriva, कपीनाम् of the monkeys, तं निनादम् that roar, श्रुत्वा having heard, आयताञ्चितलाङ्गूलः lifting and shaking the long tail, हृष्टमानसः extremely happy, अभवत् remained.
English Commentary
The great Sugriva heard the roar of the monkeys and was extremely happy. He kept raising and shaking his long tail in joy.
