English Translation
तदा: then, समितिञ्जयः one who is victorious in wars, सः he, कृत्स्नाम् vast, तांपरिषदम् that assembly, दृष्टवा: on seeing, तदा: then, वाहिनीपतिम् chief of the army, प्रहस्तम् to Prahastha, प्रचोदयामास: ordered.
English Commentary
Then Ravana who is victorious in wars, looking at the vast assembly (of Rakshasas) ordered Prahastha, the chief of the army. Ravana asks Prahastha to decide for the safety of Lanka and also inform Kumbhakarna of the situation.
