English Translation
महाबाहुः mighty armed, परपुरञ्जयः conqueror of enemy cities, रामः Rama, शङ्खविमित्रेण blowing of conches, राघवः Raghava, भेरीशब्देन by the noise of drums, उपयाति marched forth.
English Commentary
The mighty armed Rama, the conqueror of enemy cities, Raghava marched forth with the noise of the blowing of conches and the sounds of drums. Malyavan beholds evil portents and advises Ravana to make peace with Rama.
