संलब्दसंज्ञः regaining senses, निशाचरः night ranger, परमक्रुद्धः extremely angry, अवस्थितम् stood firmly, वालिपुत्रम् Vali's son, वक्षोदेशे direction of the chest, गदया with mace, जघान attacked.
