English Translation
अग्रवीर्ये of foremost among heroes, तस्मिन् his, नरान्तके Naranthaka, संख्ये in combat, वालिसुतेन by Vali's son, निहते killed, अथा and then, अन्तरिक्षे sky, त्रिदशोत्तमानाम् Devatas and gods of three worlds, वनौकसांचैव including Vanaras, महान् great, प्रणादः happiness, बभूव radiated.
English Commentary
Naranthaka, the foremost of the heroes, having been killed in combat, the Devatas and gods of the three worlds experienced great joy.
