English Translation
इति in this way, तद्वचनम् those words, श्रुत्वा having heard, राजा the king, तेषाम् their, मन: प्रियम् pleasing to their mind, अजानन्निव as if he did not know earlier, जिज्ञासु: with a wish to ascertain, इदम् these, वचनम् words, अब्रवीत् spoke.
