English Translation
अग्रजम् firstborn, तनयम् son, दृष्ट्वा having seen, मे my, परा supreme, प्रीतिः भवति will be my delight, रामम् Rama, अपश्यतस्तु but if I do not see him, मे my, चेतना life, नष्टा भवति is destroyed.
English Commentary
When I see my firstborn , I experience supreme delight. But if I do not see him, my life loses its meaning.
