Vishvam
The Universe; He who is everything
विष्णुसहस्रनाम
The Vishnu Sahasranama is a hymn from the Mahabharata (Anushasana Parva) listing one thousand names of Lord Vishnu, each describing a divine attribute or quality. Recited daily in Hindu worship, it was revealed by Bhishma to Yudhishthira on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. The classical commentary by Adi Shankaracharya (Vishnu Sahasranama Bhashya) remains the definitive scholarly interpretation of each name.
